It's a dog-friendly pub that's great. our welpe was treated with a few doggys. they went well. the personal is nice and friendly and the decor is good. the log fire is a nice note. I had to beat a star because it's not the best. I think it's pre-set.

Super friendly, they managed to press us and we are very grateful because we had not booked for a Sunday dinner. yummy pub eat and super service. Thank you.

This is a cash that I do not pass before when I go to calke abbey. it is far away from the city, but surprisingly good environment and eat

I can't praise the hospitality of people who run this place enough. My son was cut-off by floodwater yesterday and ended up taking refuge in the pub until I could safely get to him in a 4x4. The landlord and locals were really supportive and welcoming. When I eventually got there we had a good meal and waited until there was a safe route out (Thanks to the local chap who directed me). We’ll be going back again to visit under less stressful circumstances. I recommend the home made pies.
