What User doesn't like about Melbourne Hall Tea Rooms:
Went there for lunch with 2 grandchildren. No children's menu and had to ask and informed that children could have anything off the main menu but not a lot of choice for them. We had wraps but not worth the money at all. The bill...was far more expensive than other places we have visited. The service was extremely slow even though it was not full. My man and I went to lunch on a Wednesday, we sat outside, the staff are very friendly, they have a nice menu with a good selection of eating and drinking, the eating was spot on could not fail we had a plower and...ham, ei and chips, easy, but just perfectly made quite large portions so a nice place we go back
We called today for lunch and had great food ample portions and well presented,i had The Cheese and caramel onion sandwich and my husband had a Ham omelette which was light and fluffy just how he likes them. The staff were all very pleasant and...helpful,we will be back. Thank you
Came with 3 friends for afternoon tea and it was lovely! The staff were pleasant and attentive and there was plenty of food. One of us needed gluten free food which was no issue. The cake choices were amazing and we even ended up bringing...some home. Tea was constantly topped up and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return!
Excellent service from the staff who were very very busy. A lovely place for a good old fashioned brew. Or a little something to nibble.
