Amazing meal from start to finish, every dish was not only delicious but a feast for the eyes too! I'm so glad we stumbled upon this place, will definitely be back again. Do yourself a favour and try the Dark Dragon, you won't be disappointed. View all feedback.
What JPS doesn't like about Achimi:
I am embarrassed for anyone who reviewed this place above a 2. The fish is at best, cheap supermarket quality. The Chef takes zero pride in his work and it is evident on the plate. Service was fine. Atmosphere terrible. You’d have to be extremely desperate and self loathing to voluntarily eat here. View all feedback.
We just finished dinner today for the first time. Excellent food service. Will come back again when we are in London
Lovely restaurant with really fresh Japanese food great service definitely beats Giggling Squid for me!
Very underwhelming , would not recommend this place.
Perfectly serviceable sushi and other Japanese staples. Doubtful I will visit again.
Achimi is fantastic, authentic food as always and delicious. I love the sushi here, dad is a fan of the sashimi as he's not so keen on cold rice. For mains we had the Aromatic sushi roll for £13.80, Chirashi Don (comes with Miso soup) for £15.80 and Black Cod in Miso for £22.80. The takoyaki were great as usual, and previously I have very much enjoyed a Salmon Set that looks like a boat for £16.80. The teas are in large cups and the green tea in particular is nice. And I had to get the Japanese Rice Cake with red bean for £4.00. There were a couple families with young kids in at the Saturday lunchtime we went, as it's quiet it seems a good way to test their restaurant etiquette. At dinner when we have been there are no children usually. The doorways are quite narrow so I would say this is not accessible for a wheelchair user.
