The food was phenomenal, as was the service. We had a waiter-in-training who was enthusiastic, friendly, and doing a great job for his first night, while the waitress he was shadowing was attentive to us and encouraging to him. The pair was fantastic! And of course, the food could not have been any more delicious. It was quickly prepared and got us to our show on time and with full bellies! View all feedback.
What Floare Neamtu doesn't like about Chu The Phat:
Sunday lunch, restaurant was not that busy. Entrees came out after 30mins, mains took another hour for a table of three. A table of diners seated near us left as they were sick of waiting for food. Restaurant is very unorganised, a lot of inexperienced wait staff running around and what appeared to be only one person on the floor who knew what was going on. Food finally arrived and was so salty it was inedible. We le... View all feedback.
Had an event for my companys graduates, madison hardy was a fantastic waitress, she catered to every need I had, could recommend anyone else. Thank you for a great night.
I'd let them know it was a special birthday lunch however we were sat in the dark, near the kitchen. Upon request staff found us another table. We ordered the banquet which was terrible some food was cold, over sauced, the greens were sad,...it all seemed microwaved. Our wine was served as larges even though we hadn't ordered that size at double the price. We won't return.
I haven't been for a while had enjoyed previous visits. Upon arriving, I was told that we need to order using a QR code, which didn't thrill me. I don't come to a nice restaurant to use my phone; give me a menu ...take my order...it's called service. Anyway, they ended up taking our order as we also didn't want to pay at order time since we thought we might order more as we went along. We ordered a bunch of starters, which were a mix of hit miss. Duck buns were lovely but the last one had a chunk of bone which wasn't pleasant, veggie spring rolls were nice but the yuzu sauce with them was unpleasant, chicken ribs were delicious. Scallops were terrible, tiny scallop absolutely drowned in sauce to the point you couldn't taste anything else. The Salmon tartare was the highlight, so good! Our other problem was that we ordered everything it all came out together. Would have been nice if they'd asked us if we wanted to space things out as we just naturally assumed they would. So, between the food the new ordering system, I have no interest in returning.
Lovely friendly welcome, and they offered to look after our suitcases obligingly. Cosmo cocktail delicious. Fantastic brown fried rice- so good. Best pork belly. Yummy lunch- yes extravagant for lunch, but we did also have a bottle of wine. Service casual but always topping up...water and being attentive.
Visited with a few work friends. Service prompt and no fanfare which was appreciated. Good suggestions, great communication. Food arrived quickly and was well received and tasted great across all of our dishes. Well done guys.
