Cactus Republic - South Brisbane

I see there has been some pretty low scoring for Cactus Republic, however we must have been there on a good night because our food was pretty good service was great too. All our dishes were simple, fresh tasty. My nachos was good as were the soft vegetarian tacos. Sauces all came with a good chilli hit. Plus there was a good selection of bottled sauces if you needed that extra punch. Partner ordered a sizzling platter the beef was super tender. Good overall Tex Mex with generous portions

Been here a couple of times and I have enjoyed their burritos and quesadillas which are quite good. Excellent location right in the heart of Southbank, so a great place to end up after a nice, relaxing walk or before/after a movie. Prices and portion sizes are reasonable.

Really good fresh mexican food with a twist of there own and not plastered with cheese,we had tacos and nachos and very impressed with both meals. Wait staff were pretty average with no attention to customers once ordered and seated but food was worth it.

I thoroughly enjoy this Mexican every time we eat there. It is nice having a fresh sense of food and reasonable price. I love the vege nachos!

Tried cactus republic one night when we had a hankering for Mexican food. Ordered the vegetarian nachos and the gold margarita. They are not lying when they say the margarita is big. Unfortunately I couldn't say the same about the nachos. While it was nice, it really wasn't anything special.
