What Annie Murray doesn't like about Esplanade Hotel:
The best feature of this place is when the blinds are opened and you can see the wonderful view.
But the overall experience was stressful, mainly as they seem understaffed. Booking was stuffed up and arrived to find table set for 10 not 13. Was only when I went back to show my phone with exact times I had rung to make booking that another table was added.

This place has it all - an amazing view, delicious quality food and that wonderful mix of good service and great value.
Specials (Steak) advertised for Thursday on doors and walls & Cash register not applicable as 'changing menu's'.
Unfortunately, while it bears the name of the famous pub in Melbourne's St Kilda, you won't find any rip roaring live acts playing here on a Saturday night
This is an excellent steak , the service was good, fantastic food ????, and lots of little touches which make the meal. Well worth a visit for steak lovers.

Took ages to order. Stood in line for at least 20 minutes. The food was good. Some meals better than others. Pie says it is served with mushy peas but they were cooked mashed peas. But to be fair, everyone enjoyed their food. Would not go back - they need more staff who are not run off their feet and it would have been a much more enjoyable experience.
