Puerto Vallarta Express - South Bend

I come here everytime I'm in town for work. 3 chicken tacos chips/salsa lime Jarritos soda. Chipotle doesn't have anything on this place.

This place is really good, and was my go to lunch place for a bit. I give 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons: the carne asada is inconsistent. On some days, it is the best carne asada you've ever had. On other days, it's gristly. The tinga is more consistent and better on average, or any other meat (also recommend carne el pastor) they give a lot of food; it isn't necessarily healthy stuff either. I try to eat here once in a blue moon for this reason

This place came to my work place almost every Friday, every time they show up to my work place for lunch I always order the shred chicken bowl with everything except sour cream and lots of hot sauce. The food always on point . It's so good I actually went to the restaurant order some food (the same like I said alway on point . Only disappointment was I always ask for more hot sauce, they always think I cant handle the hot

The tacos are very good! Excellent flavor but the steak was very tough and gristly. I think cutting them into smaller pieces would help out on the toughness. I couldn’t chew several of the pieces. If this one issue is solved, the tacos would be perfect.

This was our first visit as out-of-towners. The menu is not user friendly. We basically stumbled through their version of a Chipotle style setup. The final product was a bit of a let down. There's limited seating so more for takeout.
