Ellisland House - South Ayrshire

I myself, my mother and my friend had lunch here today, have to say that the staff was very friendly and courteous, great choice of eating, beautiful it area.

I was in ayr a few days ago and visited my God daughter and she thought that lunch in the ellisland hotel would be great. she was right! there we were.

Really comfortable hotel. very friendly staff throughout, good rooms, interesting and varied menu.

Last minute booking for this hotel on a dinner bed and breakfast basis. Check in was very quick and the receptionist could not have been more helpful; even although we arrived earlier than the scheduled check in time. Our room was fabulous, spotless, very spacious with everything we required and more. The food and service throughout our stay were first class. The hotel has a great location with plenty of car park spaces. Its close to the sea and 15 minutes walk from the town centre. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return to this hotel.

My husband and I both had steaks cooked to perfection and very nice Merlot was recommended. Lovely atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff but maybe a but pricey.
