Contribute FeedbackDespite some service mishaps, including lost orders and slow drink service, the Stables offers a pleasant dining experience with delicious food and polite waitstaff. Some minor issues with cleanliness and noise levels were noted, but the overall atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The afternoon tea and chef's brunch received high praise for presentation and taste. Despite some inconsistencies in service speed and cleanliness, the Stables remains a viable option for those seeking a charming setting and enjoyable dining experience.
We had a wonderful experience at the stables. We had the chef’s brunch which was excellent value. The food was very well presented and tasted amazing. Attention to detail and service was outstanding. Highly recommend especially for a special occasion
Really lovely high tea. Nice selection of sweet and savoury on both main one and vegetarian plus a tea or coffee. Great to get unlimited mimosas as well
Overall we had a lovely experience however there are a few things that I feel could have made for a more pleasant dining experience:The crockery and table were not thoroughly cleaned unacceptable especially during COVID for example the table was dirty and the cups and saucers were dusty and old stained, chippedAround the venue there were old prices of broken equipment lying around and made the place look like a bit of a shambles it’s such a pretty settle but the attention to detail isn’t there. The tea is served with frothed milk which is just bizarre. I understand these are strange times but I feel for per head for afternoon tea you could go the extra mile and take pride in the appearance and cleanliness of the venue
Everything fantastic except one grumpy staff member
Delicious food and lovely location, very polite waitstaff but service to get drinks was slow and they forgot simple orders like tea at High Tea!., and had to request more than one tiny pot of jam between four of us, Very noisy but nice rooms
