While the vegan restaurant, Emerald's, offers a unique menu featuring exotic dishes and accommodating service, some guests found it mediocre compared to the outstanding offerings at the Jade Club and Trou a Diable. The resort excels in providing vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, and the charming ambiance enhances the culinary experience. Guests rave about the specialties crafted by Chef Frank, ensuring a delightful gastronomic adventure amid breathtaking views. Overall, Anse Chastanet promises memorable dining amidst lush surroundings.
I recently dined at a restaurant with a completely vegan menu, which is a rare find in this area. Unfortunately, the food was only average. However, I also tried two other restaurants at the Anse Chastanet/Jade Mountain Resort - the Jade Club and the Trou a Diable. Although they offer fewer options, the dishes they have are outstanding. I highly recommend these two restaurants to anyone looking for a great dining experience. This review was updated on April 18, 2022.
It is rare and wonderful to find a Caribbean resort that offers so many vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options like I did at Anse Chastanet Resort! The highlight of my trip was dining at Emeralds, a fully vegan restaurant with exotic dishes that left me amazed by the delicious flavors and presentation. There were also many vegan options for breakfast, including dining on the beach. Dining at Anse Chastanet Resort was a delightful and unexpected experience. I wish I could stay here forever!
Eating was excellent. the service was very good at our first visit. not so good 2. visit. loved the location, ambiente and total value.
A larger selection of non-alcoholic beers would be good. otherwise an excellent restaurant with friendly, efficient service.
We visited balawoo restaurant from another resort. the road to the restaurant is more like a dog way, but once we arrived we could say that it was worth the flat tires! the restaurant is beautiful and the view is phenomenal. we enjoyed our meal very much. husband said that steak was one of the best he ever had, and although my kingfish was boiled over, the whole other had a beautiful presentation and was full of taste. the service was average, not too friendly, not too fast, not too attentive.
