Gredos - Soto del Real

Every trip to Madrid includes at least one stop at Restaurante Gredos- Soto del Real. Remarkable sort of Spanish dishes, great authentic taste. A small family business where traditions and flavors braid with great hospitality, good prices and of course, wine! Went several times, with friends, family, each time everyone was delighted to discover the incredible paella, Carmina- best chef- prepare with love or “el rabo de toro” a plate you can’t miss if you go visit Spain, “pimientos con bacalao” or “croquetas caseras” – home-made croquettes, which you can’t have enough. The owner, Javi always brings us desert or drinks from the house to mark another great experience and to show us we’re welcoming every time. Totally recommend! The restaurant is situated in a small central plaza and Soto del Real it’s a charming place to go visit or have a nice lunch or prolonged dinner.

This is a great restaurant in soto de Rey with really friendly staff. Nice sitting outside. Good menu with plenty of choice but we had the menu of the day for €16 each which was great. Highly recommended good food at a good price

Small big place, so the roots last in each of the dishes so, italia at the moment, great attention, we should not stop going

Today we have returned to this place so spectacular and very special for us. baked pig, without words. chicken meat when you hear the skin crunchy. I advise you to leave, a special and very homely place, as at home. We will return, as always.
