Best onion soup in Cabarete, period.This restaurant is a true gem. Stefan is one of the best hosts I've met. He's kind, well-versed, and turns your visit into a true fine dining experience. Food was below average for Cabarete and clearly miles away from the typical French cuisine that we expected. The owner is very friendly but that does not help the taste. The place is complelety overprized. View all feedback.

Le Bistro is such an amazing place we came here twice for our 5 days trip! It’s not fancy pretentious food, it’s like the best comfort home cooked French food you can get. I’m from NYC and I don’t particularly prefer French cuisine in the city, but I really LOVED the food at Le Bistro! We will definitely be coming back when we come back to DR for kite surfing again.

It was our first time in town and we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious meals at every restaurant we’ve dined. Restaurant Le Bistro was our favorite. (We ate there twice) and will definitely return again to try more delicious impressionable, unforgettable dishes. Service was top notch and the coconut fish is amazing.

The seared duck breast with cream pepper sauce is absolutely delicious. The onion tart and duck roulettes are also highly recommended. The ambiance and service are among my favorites in Cabarete. Don't forget to save room for the Vanilla flan dessert, it is a must-try.

An absolute gem tucked away in a small town alley, this restaurant serves the best French cuisine in the Dominican Republic. The service was exceptional, thanks to Stephan. We will definitely be back.
