Una Pizzeria - Sorsogon

Una Pizzeria an old residence converted into a restaurant is the best place to go for authentic Italian food in Sorsogon City. It offers mostly Italian dishes and even most of the items in the menu are in Italian. It has a very cozy ambience and prices are quite reasonable with no service charge.Their ripe mango shake is pure and the best so far among the ones I have tried before in other restaurants. This place will surely make you return several times.

In February 2016 I visited Pizzeria Una three times. The restaurant is located opposite of the Fernandos Hotel which I was currently staying at. The food is still good. I tried pork spiced with herbs the Italian style with mushroom sauce and mashed potatoes. Second time I went for the traditional pizza. Their café latte is best in town together with blueberry cheesecake, although to my knowledge this might be the only place in Sorsogon where they serve this! So the competition isn't that fierce. The staff is friendly but not really attentive. I often had to wait for ordering the food, getting the bill and refilling of the water. They tend also to have the AC very cold so for me at least who doesn't want to sit in the full blast of cold air I had to chose my table with care.

I have had several meals at Una, the service is great and the atmosphere is open and friendly. The comfortable tables (there are two) are well sort after so pick your time.Finally the food is wonderful, I asked if I could have my bacon and onion slightly more cooked on my Spaghetti Carbonara this was accomplished with no fuss and was done perfectly (not overdone) I will try a pizza tonight. My favourite is the Salmon with a caper and mustard sauce. but I'm not through the menu yet.. excellent. PS, By Philippine standards Una is expensive at about AUS $10 per meal with a beer,

Una Pizzeria is still the best place in Sorsogon City for Italian food. No other restaurant in the vicinity can compete with it. Service is prompt, personnel are courteous and prices are very reasonable. What's more? There is no service charge
