Don’t let the pretty view fool you. We came here with 2 Italians and 3 Americans and all agreed the food was very mediocre (particularly for the price). The portions were quite large, but the quality was not great...there was even moldy fruit as a centerpiece on our table. Quite representative of the quality of the food overall. Wouldn’t waste your money here when there’s way better food in the area.
Terrible service and extremely shady pricing. Depending upon what you chose you will have a terrible surprise when you ask the check (3 spaghetti with astice 90 euros). Pasta was overcooked and when we complained the answer was oh really?? We are glad you told us . Wine cellar good only on paper. All the wines we chose (the owner told us) were not available, and he sold us what he wanted. You pay only for the view. STAY AWAY!
This was a very disappointing experience... we stopped on our way to Alghero and thought it was nice from the outside...as soon as we saw the ‘Carte’ we thought it was very reasonable priced... but be careful when you finally see the note... they’ve charged us a total of 20,50€ for what they call ‘coberto’ which was basically the bread and for 2 cokes and a Fanta.... the food itself was very nice though and ok price careful with how you understand the price of the lobster, it can end up very expensive . With all this, at the end mixed feeling, hence low rating... ah not to forget the very uncomfortable situation of having to fight with all sorts of flying insects flies, wasps, bees... . Staff is professional. . However indeed the waiting time to pay the bill looks like there is only owner and o e of the waitresses authorised to operate this activity . So overall excellent food but you leave with mixed feeling given value for the money. Not recommended from our side. Show less
I visited this place after a long day of travelling and without reservation. I was lucky enough that the staff allocated the table for us. The service was a bit of hit and miss at first i.e. I ordered natural water but they served the sparkling water and it took quite a while before they took our order. After that everything seemed to run smoothly. I couldn't eat much. So we shared the octopus salad and also tomatoes salad. I ordered the linguini with clams; my daughter had spaghetti with tomato sauce and a tuna main course. The tuna was fresh and cooked very well. The food was simple but packful of flavours but not over seasoned, the pasta was al dente, fresh and all delicious. It can be a bit pricey for Sorso area as my individual serving pasta dish cost about 15 euros. But it is delicious food here. The view is wonderful and there were a lot of Italian families enjoyed themselves in this restaurant which is a good sign.
The restaurant has a strategic position just few step from a very long beach named “Platamona” and is located in Marina di Sorso. In this place you can surely have a meal admiring a stunning sea view horizon/skyline, sunset is the best moment for starting a dinner in this location. Going into the details regarding the food, except crudités (mainly raws oysters, red shrimps usually not from local sea but from Sicily and some langoustines) all the rest I have tried is not very interesting and does not meet the expectation of a such well placed and reviewed restaurant. Considering that the restaurant team said to use only fresh sea products, first courses comes not really tasteful as they should be. Linguine all’Astice (Lobster) had more similar flavour to simple tomato sauce pasta rather than Lobster sauce, even considering that the Lobster was half sliced on the dishes. Not really nice also the Gamberi alla Brace (roasted shrimps) which are only 6 pieces and most probably aren’t fresh at all (unfreeze) and high price of the dish not justified and even over cooked. Another main course was Orecchiette with Tonno fresco and pomodorini (pasta with fresh tuna and small tomatoes), dish was basic, prevalent flavour was the small tomatoes and salt was in my opinion wrongly dosed as mush as also pasta was found over cooked and not “al dente”. Having a meal in this restaurant is unexplainably costly. Definitely, only view could be a reason for having a meal.

Normally a good restaurant with nice service and good food. Last experience just after 15th August the ambience was somewhat disappointing. People loudly watching YouTube on their phones at multiple tables which gave it a snackbar impression. Not the fault of Risacca perse, but no interventions from the persons and waiters. We left before deserts because it was just too noisy and not the Risacca experience we used to have. There is also a non restaurant section cheaper dinning option/Pizzaria which may have had a better ambience yesterday. Past experience have been trully positive.
Fantastic view from the Terrace to the seaside; staff is very friendly at the cafe bar; We recommend to go there after a ferry trip to Porto Torres for relaxing and starting your trip at the isle of Sardegna with a small breakfast Seafood restaurant in inside is on higher end of price range; food and wine is worth it; service can be hectic
Amazing location, right on the waterfront. Service, local food and choice of local vines excellent.
We wanted to eat but the kitchen was closing in 5 mins (only told once we'd been seated). There was no menu, you download the menu by scanning QR code...the waiter was rushing us as there was only 5 mins, but we needed to read the menu so we gave up and said we'd only have some drinks, with that we were ushered back to the bar area as that's where you sat if only having drinks! As there were so few people in the restaurant and it was shortly becoming a non restaurant (kitchen closing remember) we thought they could have left us seated where we were! Still, it's ensured that every time we pass it we don't stop, and go elsewhere (and we pass it a lot as we have a hire car while on hols).
That's one of my favourite restaurant of the north eastern Sardinia. Stunning location with sea view from any table within the restaurant. The fresh fish makes this restaurant a real must. Generally traditional recipe from the island with a light twist here and there, huge selection of wines and a super professional staff make this place a must to see if you visit this part of Sardinia.
