We stayed in Sant’Egle in mid-July. Erika and Alexander, exquisite people, welcomed us in their paradise: the farm is an incredible place with all the colors and scents of Tuscany. the structure is beautiful, and our room in the farmhouse. to leave our heart, we felt right at home. we tried their delicious organic cuisine, the excellent selection of local wines always bio and took advantage of the super activities they propose: a wonderful horse ride in the woods, the discovery by electric bike of Etruscan wonders and the beautiful villages of sorano and Pitigliano, the yoga lessons of cristina and relaxing massages. but above all we have rested under secular trees, we have recharged the batteries between unforgettable sunsets and the pool of sea water, the cicadas and the frogs of the pond. it was so beautiful and regenerating that, thinking now, it seems that we dreamed of it. Sin limits judgment to only 5 stars because this experience would certainly deserve more! than to say that I was looking for a relaxing weekend, in a comfortable place but different from the usual and that embraced the concepts of eco sustainability as a gift for the birthday of my sweet met. the result went beyond expectations (high). Starting from the fact that the whole structure can accommodate a maximum number of (I believe) 10 guests: the peace guaranteed. the pigeons a coconut made to the suites, with a large bathtub in the room. the pool and the hot tub give relaxation throughout the day. breakfast a triumph of organic products of excellence (including spirulina,) variegated and well assorted. we tried various extras as yoga lesson in the holistic space (pazzesco place,) bbq (abundant and high quality and float (unique experience) always remaining more than satisfied. if I had to highlight 2 added values that made the difference: 1- care in details. look for it, but here you will not even find a corner that will make you turn your nose (and a really big structure). 2- erika and alexander: to be hosted by two people so available and rare enthusiasts. Initial premise: was our first time in a bio farm. Well, thanks to alessandro and erika will not be the last! kind, always available. and you feel in the air that love what they do! It's only because of this, in our opinion, it's worth letting go and see how people really believe in what they do. The idea of the tavern without bonste, very nice. barbecue experience, well organized, fun and with quality products (both food, and barbecue itself). the only things I would improve is the slight smell of fireplace in the room 'Rustica' (but from the initial premise, maybe we are not yet rustic enough,) and finally I would add typical salami of the Maremma to breakfast (but always personal goto, because for the rest absolutely nothing is missing, indeed: bio products of their production, delicious compotes, fresh eggs in every way. and have breakfast with the moka at the table, has no price we hope to find them soon, because both the place, and them, really deserve it!
