Sawasdee Thai Cuisine - Soquel

We traveled from Los Angeles, where there are hundreds of Thai restaurants, many of which we have sampled. Dining at Sawasdee rivals the best options in L.A. We truly enjoyed the fresh and healthy flavors, the beautiful presentation, and the enticing aromas of several different dishes. We can't wait to return the next time we visit!

I came to lunch today when I believed Thai food. I ordered from the lunch menu the yellow curry with carrots, carrots, green beans and tofu. the dish comes with rice and sweet soup and for 2 dollars more get them to veggie egg rolls with sweet and acid sauce and I also ordered a Thai ice cream food was very tasty and good. the service was really good. I recommend this place

I only ordered the delivery from here, so they take into account this as they read this. I have the decreasing appetizer and my favorites, tom kha gai suppe, both are consistently quite good. my other favorites, pad kee mao, a.k.a. drunken noodles, is just not on the standard. Not with the right nudules, not almost spicy enough, even after the request quite sharp. and it is just not as good as other versions. we also had other dishes such as the aubergine basil, and really it simply did not have the complexity, the layers of aromen, or even, enough basilikum to make it really a basilikum. everything was fresh and made with high-quality ingredients, it simply did not “yellow” in a really interesting and tasteful dish. I prefer the other local alternatives. I gave them a fair chance. they like the simpleness and fresh, but I wanted more thai taste and saucier flair.

Excellent Thai food, my favorite is the sticky rice. The man who served us might be the owner, was really very sweet and attentive and friendly.

Very authentic thai cuisine with a funny, friendly owner. Brought my grandma here and she loved everything on the menu. The curry was amazeballs and we left feeling stuffed for the rest of the dayNote: ask for fish sauce and thai chillis with your pad thai!
