Ardo Berri - Sopelana

Excellent food, drink and atmosphere. I suggest the 'chuleton ' (steak and the house special 'champis ' (mushrooms stuffed with a delicious flavoursome creamy sauce . All the food from the menu is cooked to order, and arrives piping hot within a reasonable time. Special thanks to Juan, Carlos and Juana for making our meals extra good : Excelente comida, bebidas y ambiente. Recomendo el chuletón y la especialidad de casa, los champis, que eran buenísimos. Toda la comida de la carta es cocinado al orden, y llega a la mesa caliente y en un tiempo corto. Eskerrik asko a Juan, Carlos y Juana por unas cenas inolvidables :

We had chuleton and tuna steak. Both were fantastic. Spanish food can be salty if you are not used to it but this was great quality meat and fish cooked to perfection. The wine (Rioja) was a perfect match for the food. We shared 2 of each dish between 4 of us and it was so good that we returned to have it again! The fish was cod this time and again superbly cooked by Juana. They also had Carlos helping us out with English translation and generally making us feel at home. Truly number one in Sopela. Service was a bit wierd, one of our dishes was too salty to eat, with no reaction from the staff when we actually told them. Try their burger, it's actually very nice with a correct pricing.

Muy buen sitio en el pueblo de sopelana, la comida muy rica y el camarero atento. Un placer comer siempre aquí!!
