Terrasses Du Lac - Soorts-Hossegor

Excellent and friendly service, staff happy to speak English, Spanish and French. Fantastic food. We had the mussels with blue cheese (moules au bleu des basques) and the Salmon tartare au couteau. This restaurant has a new chef now!

There is a beautiful view from this restaurant and the food was very tasty. We weren't quite sure what some of the dishes were, but it was not a problem as the staff took time to explain in English what each dish was and how it was cooked. Our only reservation was that we arrived very early and despite being the first and only people in the restaurant throughout our meal, we were initially shown to a table at the back. When we asked if we could sit at a window, we were shown to a really nice table and his really added to the experience.
