Stayed at the hotel for a weekend and ate and more importantly drank here on multiple occasions. Wonderful ambiance and atmosphere with a great and friendly staff. Drink selection was very good and the food was great also. Will definitely be back if we are in the area. -B View all feedback.
What Domenick Dibbert doesn't like about 38º North Lounge:
This is a basic hotel lounge. Nothing above the top. Service was fast because the lounge was not busy. It didn't matter for the wine list, but they offer delicious Parisian sidecar. Cheese plate was very good and the shrimps Tostada Art dish that I cannot remember the name. Look at it when you're in Fairmont. View all feedback.
I was often in this lounge. They share a kitchen with the Michelin star restaurant Sante. Service here is fantastic. Get to know the servers and bartenders, they treat you like a rock star. The bartenders are talented and will make special drinks when you ask. I'm not a drunk and they made a fantastic blackberry cream drink that reminded of a creamsicle. They have an extensive wine list and even offer screaming eagles on the glass. As a wine drinker I'm not sure what that means, but it seemed a big deal for those who drank. If you stay at Fairmont, certain room rates may have discounts on the food. Check it out! It's a great saving.
I was very impressed by the entire experience. Order a $36 file that could sell twice as easily. Perfectly cooked and seasoned exceptionally well. Our server was knowledgeable and very personal. Wine selection was great. Heat lamps everywhere so outside the accommodation were fantastic. This is Legit.
Drinks were good. Nice cigar selection and the roast chicken sandwich was one of the best things I've ever eaten.
The service was incredible. The waiting staff and bar channels were great. We had our one-year-old daughter who was raisin cain, and they were there to help immediately clean up (and we felt terrible at the chaos she made). 5 stars for them. 3 stars for the chicken sandwich. As a fried chicken expert, the sandwich was fine. They sell that as Nashville hot chicken sandwich (that's my favorite food), but it's more like a fried chicken sandwich with spices on it. The Brioche is obviously top notch because you can never go wrong with Brioche. But that was the highlight of the sandwich. The chicken was kind of thin and little taste / pick. Maybe my taste buds were burned hot by the amount of Nashville I had, but this one didn't crack my top ten. Great pommes! Her cured chicken pot cake will also knock off your socks!
