However only wanting something light we ordered the Primi pasta dishes, of which one was for sure purchased from Aldi. Disappointing to be in Italy and the pasta is shop bought. The service could have been better as well, not the welcoming atmosphere we have come to expect from this area of Italy. It a pity as the location and views are wonderful.

Peek into the kitchen to see why it’s so good: the long, perfect charcoal grill. Fiorentina T bone steak was excellent and very good value, given two of us ended up feasting from it. It’s a simple enough looking and feeling place from the outside, with tables on terrace, but go inside and you will see it is also a large proper restaurant, obviously popular with locals for good reason. Starting bruschetta was the best of our holiday, the (only? English speaking waiter was very friendly and helpful, the view from the terrace was typically Italian farmland, the wine was cheap and fine, I can still taste the onion rings: but this was all about the steak (grilled chicken also looked great .
