Hanoi Cooking Centre - son tay

Better than expected experience. Thorough, fun, and great food. Huong is an excellent chef, instructor and just a good guy. Try to get in his class.

Being vegetarian in Vietnam isn’t the easiest, so it was great to experience the vegetarian cooking class and learn how to use the local flavours in meat free dishes. Y our chef and teacher was very informative and clear in his teaching and of course our creations were very tasty. I’ll definitely be cooking these dishes at home. The centre is a nice place to visit even without a cooking class, with tables in a courtyard for a drink or food.

We took a walking tour of Hanoi street food--it covered a local market and a series of hole-in-the-wall restaurants and street food vendors. We were accompanied by a patient, knowledgeable, and cheerful guide who arranged and explained everything. A wonderful experience.

We had a fantastic street food tour! Our guide, Hung, was friendly and well-informed. We sampled delicious and fresh food at every stop. There is no better way to experience Hanoi!

This restaurant offers exceptional dining in a clean and relaxed atmosphere at an affordable price. I am looking forward to trying one of their cooking classes!
