The staff did not understand that an allergy means you cannot have it period, and tried to push me into buying ice cream after I explained that I am allergic to milk. The manager kept saying It 's lactose free while pushing milk products. We come to Hutchinson one a year and we always make this one of our annual stops. Love the diner feel and food is good as always

The manager kept saying It 's lactose free while pushing milk products. I seriously was convinced that the manager was willing to hospitalize me to get a sale, even after I told him that having the ice cream or cheese would literally put me in the hospital. Only reason I got anything at all was because my family forced the issue, and I still checked the sandwich and fries before I left the restaurant for contamination via allergens. The mediocre food was not worth having to fight that hard to get something safe to eat.
Couldn't even eat the western burger without spitting out everything. The guy said to wait for fresh fries. They were soggy. Straight up yuck.
.manager was screaming at her help...felt sorry fir the kid until I found out it was his mom...then felt even worse for him
This is my favorite Spangles! They know us by name and the food is always GREAT! Shout out to Cassy Dalton for always being AWESOME!!!
