Yutaka - Somerville

First off, the service is excellent! Our waitress was quick, helpful and made sure that we were taken care of. We ordered gyoza, crispy salmon skin and calamari for appetizers. The salmon skin and gyoza were delicious, highly recommend them both! Calamari a little less so some were tender, but others tough, and they were very large. Rolls and sashimi were all excellent. Red dragon roll, rainbow roll, another one with seared white tuna on the outside, all really tasty and well made. Overall, a good place!

Our chef was very non interactive but we saw chef on other table very interactive and folks were having fun. So guess it was just our table. BYOB is a big plus. Service was decent and apps were not bad. Hibachi was bit salty and all proteins tasted almost same. They didn’t have lobsters on that day so if you are looking for one, call ahead and check.

Food was good however the lady at the front was rude and argumentive. I will not be coming back.

Just okay all around. Sushi was fine, nothing special, the room for just tables is very secluded. No sauce for hibachi entrees which is strange. Definitely better food in somerville.

We had hibatchi take out. It was excellent. We had one order of hibatchi chicken and it was enough food for our family of 4. Edit down to 3 stars. It may be good but customer service is now terrible.
