Contribute FeedbackOscar's, located at the Waldorf Astoria in Orlando, offers a breakfast buffet with exceptional food and a wide variety of options. The staff is friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make special occasions memorable. While the prices are a bit high compared to other places in the area, the quality of the food and service make it worth the cost. Despite some small issues like slow service, lack of sugar-free syrup, and a no-reservation policy, the commitment to customer satisfaction and the high-quality offerings make Oscar's a must-visit spot for brunch or breakfast in Orlando. The elegant environment and delicious food options, including fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, crepes, pancakes, and a waffle station, make it a popular choice among visitors to the city.
The hostess seated us right away. For breakfast, we had the option of a buffet or ordering from the menu, and we chose to order from the menu. Healthy options are clearly marked, and I opted for the avocado and poached egg on toast. Our meals arrived within 20 minutes and were served hot. While the menu prices are in line with what you'd expect at a Waldorf Astoria, they feel a bit high for the Orlando area.
The food is great at Oscar's and we enjoy frequenting for Brunch, and recommend it to everyone! However, please note that as policy they do not accept reservations - even if you're booking through OpenTable! Seating is based on a first come, first seated basis. Be aware that they will accept an online reservation, with no intention of honoring it if seating is full.
Stuck in Mickey-land for a convention, a group of us were looking for a Sunday brunch spot. Oscar's at the Waldorf sounded like what we wanted and off we went. Although I'm not a lover of buffets, this one looked amazing, with more variety than usual, including a smoked salmon bar, prosciutto bar and honey dripping from a honeycomb! There were a lot of family's with kids, so it was a bit noisy, but that didn't really detract...everything the group of 4 tried, we loved. Only 2 things that were a little strange were that the cost of the buffet only included Mimosas, not **** Marys and there were no Eggs Benedict on the buffet??What impressed me most though was the commitment to making the customer happy. When I got to the salmon bar, it was empty, although two staff members I asked told me it would be restocked. When I mentioned it to our waiter, he came back and said they'd run out, which was disappointing. The manager came over an apologized, said they'd even sent over to the next door Hikton but they were out til Monday...not what I wanted to hear. 15 minutes later the manager appeared with a plate heaped with the best smoked salmon I've had in a long time....THAT is service.
Breakfast Buffet located in Waldorf AstoriaExcellent selectionExcellent food Very enjoyable experience
My husband and I enjoyed breakfast at this restaurant this morning while staying at the Waldorf Astoria. The buffet had a great variety of food options and everything was delicious. Our waiter was very friendly, attentive, and sweet. Today is my husband's birthday and I mentioned it when making reservations. I was pleasantly surprised when they brought out a personal cake with a candle and "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate on the plate. It was a special touch that we truly appreciated. While the restaurant is a bit expensive, the quality of the food and service make it worth every penny.
