Mama Gina's Pizza - Somerville

A nice pizzeria in Somerville. I tried their speciality mexican wrap which was good, Though nothing great about it. It was served hot, in terms of flavour it did not have much of spice which mexican wraps usually have. Perhaps, i should have just gone for the pizza which is supposed to be good here.

Amazing subs. Great meatball sub. Perfect proportions. Skip all the hipster garbage. It’s not good enough.

I used to live nearby and frequented this place often, but I’ve missed it over the past year. It’s my favorite pizza spot in Somerville. While it’s not gourmet or fancy, it offers a perfectly made, no-frills pizza that is simply the best in the area.

It was so delicious that we finished it all before we could snap a photo! The crust was perfectly thin and had a great crispy yet chewy texture. I did reheat it in the oven when I got home because I picked it up and wanted it hotter. The sauce was excellent, and there was just the right amount of cheese—none of that rubbery layer that some places serve. The toppings were generous, with pepperoni, spinach, and mushrooms. I'm thrilled to have discovered such a great local pizza place; I honestly prefer it over Hotbox and Caesar's. I called to place my order for pickup around dinner time, and it was ready in just 25 minutes. The staff was really friendly, too, which was a nice bonus. Oh, and the spicy curly fries were pretty good as well!
