I get food from here more consistently than I’ve ever gotten food from one restaurant in my entire life. The food is cheap, prepared quickly, and most importantly, the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Anyone within a 1 mile radius of the place can smell the heavenly curries they’re cooking! They’re constantly changing their menu so you get to try a wide variety of dishes. Everything they make is absolutely delicious s... View all feedback.
What Jayesh Patil doesn't like about Guru The Caterer:
I ordered meat combo with DoorDash was okay but it was very disappointed with it. I order goat curry and they send me lamb curry I don’t eat lamb if goat curry was not available they can call or text me I will try to get something else not really happy with View all feedback.
I got their food at Melrose Farmer's Market. It was really good. The meat was fresh and not rubbery at all. I would definitely be back to try other dishes.
Had guru at the Boston Public Library farmers market. I know food prices are getting higher, but I feel like for just a few dollars more, you can gorge at a buffet somewhere. The pakora looked phenomenal but cannot be chosen as a side, which is disappointing. They definitely save money by using tripartite containers and loading basmati rice onto the biggest section. I would definitely consider using them for catering but I also know that Indian grub isn't for everyone. The Farmer's market is in a great spot. You can just eat at the sidewall of the BPS and talk to people. It's a good experience on a nice day and even more so if you're from out of town. As an aside, I don't know why the only two hot food offerings are Indian at the farmer's market. The samosas at the other joint looked like a must try. That review for that one will be coming soon. Sorry I don't have any photos.
Very nice environment! Staff is very nice, they are very helpful with ordering. The food is so good that I cannot explain in words! Alam, Khasru
I ordered goat curry take out and it was amazing! Really close to home cooked food, and I enjoyed the whole curry in one sitting. The delivery was super fast too, arrived 15 minutes before time.
Ordered the goat biryani. Had two spoon fulls and threw the rest out. The goat was overcooked and tasted like it was old. Still have a bad aftertaste in my mouth. Worst $18 I have ever spent in my
