I made a reservation at Labarca for a party of six a week before Christmas. OpenTable accepted my reservation, and I even received a confirmation text reminding me of it. To top it off, I got a flyer in the mail with a voucher valid for May 2023. I was so embarrassed when we arrived at the restaurant only to find it closed for the season! I loved the view of the marina from the dining room. Our waiter and the other staff were fantastic, and the service was top-notch. The food was delicious!
The restaurant was closed despite us having made and confirmed our reservations. We all took an Uber there, only to find it locked up.
I made a reservation for six at LaBarca through OpenTable a week before Christmas. My reservation was confirmed, and I even received a reminder text from OpenTable. Additionally, I got a flyer in the mail with a coupon valid until May 2023. So, you can imagine my embarrassment when we arrived at the restaurant only to find it CLOSED for the season! It's baffling how a restaurant can operate without syncing its hours with OpenTable. And why send out a promotional flyer in December if you're closed until May? The whole situation reflects poor management.
They accepted my reservation and we drove a long way to find out the restaurant was closed. We looked it up on Google and the website said open. You need to get this restaurant off of Open Table.
Made a reservation for 6 people 4weeks in advance. When we arrived at the restaurant it was closed. Why did the app allow me to reserve a table and confirm the day before when the restaurant was closed? A note on the door said it was closed as of 12/09/2022 and that it would reopen in April. We talked to a security guard in the parking lot and he felt that the restaurant had gone under. Thanks for nothing
