The bread here is incredible, and it's very accommodating for vegetarians! I really wish there was a location closer to me. That was definitely my favorite sandwich in Solvang!
Charming little place with a long list of vegetarian sandwich options! They offer a special menu featuring popular sandwiches, which made it easier for me to choose. You can also add extra vegetables or customize your own sandwich with additional toppings. I tried the mixed veggie sandwich with artichokes and green peppers, and the goat cheese was incredibly creamy. The bread was fantastic too! I only wish I had treated myself to more!
I liked the food here. It was exactly what you expect from an Italian restaurant. Staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable. The downside is the location. By 3 all bakeries and stores were closed. About 3 or 4 restaurants stayed open until 8 pm. Thw next day everything was closed so I had to drive to Santa Barbara for food. If you plan to visit; come early, buy bread, have lunch here, and go home.
The food was good and reasonably priced. I ordered the half-and-half, but I would have liked a bit more meat.
They should add vegan cheese! : Other than having to ask for dairy cheese off my sandwich and salad, it was nice. Service was great and the little patio is beautiful.
