Good Seed Cafe - SOLVANG
Good Seed Cafe
Description
Nestled in a bustling area, this café offers a mix of delightful food and friendly service. The menu features an array of sandwiches and brunch options, with highlights like the short rib sandwich and fried chicken biscuit. However, some diners note the prices can feel steep, and a lack of attention to basic dining needs, such as napkins, detracts from the experience. Despite occasional noise and a rushed atmosphere, the café boasts a cozy outdoor seating area and commendable beverages, including quality coffee and vegan-friendly choices. Overall, it remains a charming spot worth visiting for casual dining.

Our lunch sandwiches were enjoyable, but a short rib sandwich (or any sandwich, really) should come with at least one napkin per person. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive any. Additionally, paying $50 for a sandwich and a drink each for two people feels a bit steep. Overall, here's the gist: the sandwiches are delicious, but if you're dining here, try to avoid sitting near the noisy street and the crowds of onlookers.
The Eggs Benedict was absolutely amazing, and the drinks were wonderfully refreshing! The outdoor setting was incredibly charming, perfect for those who enjoy an earthy, natural atmosphere.
I visited this restaurant for brunch, and it was just average. Both of us ordered the fried chicken and biscuit, and it was decent but not exceptional. The chicken was tasty, but the biscuit fell short. On the plus side, the service was friendly and attentive. However, it felt a bit strange because the table next to us clearly had a poor experience, as evidenced by the elderly man's attitude. It was even more awkward when we received our food before they did, despite their arrival before ours.
The food is great. The ambiance and service people were wonderful. Would highly recommend it to everyone
