The restaurant offered a variety of vegan options, including vegan baklava which I had not tried since becoming vegan. It was delicious! We also tried their two vegan dishes: the vegan trapew and the Mediterranean vegan sandwich. Additionally, we enjoyed their vegan gelato flavors (don lampone skyberry, watermelone, alpacino mango) with our favorite being the skyberry. We also tried their shaved ice, hot mocha, and cold matcha latte with boba, and enjoyed everything we ordered.
I recently visited this cozy cafe for breakfast. I ordered the avocado toast which was delicious, but on the pricey side. I also noticed they had vegan baklava on the menu.
I absolutely loved the variety of vegan sandwiches at this restaurant, both warm and cold, which can be customized to your liking. They offer several alternative milks such as oat, almond, and soy. The coffee selection is amazing with many different flavors to choose from. They also have special items like vegan chocolate sorbet and lemon basil sorbet. The smoothies can be made vegan by substituting yogurt and honey. They offer protein shakes with whole food, plant-based ingredients and organic vegan protein powders. Their açaí bowls, Pitaya bowls, and fruit bowls are all topped with locally sourced ingredients from the farmer's market. The freshly pressed juices are made with organic products, and the all green juice was my favorite. The vegan baklava was a standout, as it's rare to find a vegan version of this dessert. The owner of the restaurant lives locally and is always available to accommodate vegan dietary needs. They also offer hot teas and boba drinks. I can't get enough of this place!
Visiting Solvang for the day. Walked by the shop and was looking for a coffee and maybe something sweet. The young lady at the counter did not know what syrups they have available for coffee, and seemed to not know the menu. Also the baklava is really expensive, 1 piece about an inch inch and a half long is $10. On top of that they took a while to bring out my coffee, mind you there was only one other person in the shop. Coffee tasted watered down and baklava was chalky. Maybe it was an off day but maybe the staff should know what they have and don’t have available.
