Was Bongiwe Britz at Aly's a mag?
The only problem was they had run out of supplies such as a certain wine, lemons for water, etc. our main courses were divine and if Solvang wasn’t so darn busy (yeah for tourism) it might have been perfect. View all feedback.
What Jeromy Bergnaum dislikes about Aly's:
Unimpressed, the food portions were very small and overpriced. a $45 steak had no flavor. Wine was mediocre. There are many other places in Solvang that are much better, will not return. View all feedback.

Wonderful food! Perfectly cooked and well paired with white and red varieties. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Very romantic atmosphere and perfect for a beautiful Valentine's Day evening.
We are the last table of the night. They serve us well, beautiful wine, beautiful dishes. especially the salad with orange juice that made Lisa so surprised and happy. The boss came and talked to us when her wife looked after her baby. we enjoyed the meal and the night. we'll be back when we visit Solvang again.
Had a great meal here. Owner/Koch, Richard, was very attentive and helped with suggestions like waa our waitress. The wife had the tasting menu with the wine pairing. All courses and wines were excellent. I had the fish that was excellent. Do not go here and expect cheap food with large portions. My plate was a little small, but it was the perfect size for me. I'd rather have quality over quantity. Finished with a, I think, 36 years old an old port that superbly dispenses. Would definitely go back.
Amazing! The cook had paring with the wine for a wonderful and unforgettable meal. From the beaten path, so you have to look for it.
We enjoyed a very nice dinner. The salmon and scallops were perfectly cooked and were delicious. the Brownie desert was divine. Service was extremely attentive, speedy and courteous. The decor is old fashioned like you might remember from your parents' (grandparents' formal dining room. The wine list is appropriate for the food selections. I would definitely return.
