Mcdonald's - Solroed

Looks like a new place or recently renovated. Tables and floors were dirty and the lights in the toilet area not working properly. Also toilets clogged. The staff was friendly but it looks like they are too few on shift.

We were pleasantly surprised at our last visit a year ago. Not so this time. The food is what you could expect at a McDonalds. But the localities......... Even late in the evening you expect a minimum of cleanliness where you sit down to have a meal. The tables(all of them) were unclean and so was the the floor. The dustbins were overfilled with trash falling down to the floor. And the toilettes.............brrrr

For 5 min stopover, was charged 100euro penalty. NO any warnings sings were available in english for passing tourists, as all in local language.

Stop for a quick lunch going home after a visit at the hospital in Køge. The usual McDonald's, easy food, and not a atmosphere that make you feel staying a little bit longer though this one has been updated since my last visit (it has been moved some meters and a new building). Better seats than some other McDonald's. Seating inside (ground flour and 1st floor) as well as outside. Usually a long wait, but not this time, not many people. Cleaning could have been better. Quality of food... It's McDonald's! One know what to expect. The staff were friendly. A playground, McDrive and free WI-FI.

Well, the food is McDonald´s. Nothing special with that. But the restaurant has been completely renovated since our last visit, and feels very fresh. We arrived at almost midnight and the service was very friendly, despite the staff obviously being short-handed.
