Outstanding, effective, efficient and very friendly... read more If it was fit for Napoleon, it may as well be for you. Excellent location smack in the middle of Solothurn. Outstanding, effective, efficient and very friendly staff throughout, both on the phone and on premise. Large and beautifully appointed yet not over-decorated rooms at adequate prices. I missed a bathrobe though. I just mention this to at least complain about one tiny little thing.... : Also the Hotel Bar is good and fun, drawing in a local crowd. The restaurant is excellent and the wine-menu hinting at a very carefully managed cellar with a fantastic choice at still fair prices. The included breakfast buffet was really good too. I was there with family and rented out multiple rooms and would go again without second thoughts if overnighting in this neighborhood.

The beds with their sumptuous linen make for a great night’s sleep. The restaurant and bar exceeded expectations with the staff in both being warm, and friendly yet professional.
