the new cook here makes everything we deserve with our waiter. the service is terrible that our waiter was over rude and screamed at the waitress who tried to help him. he threw our stumbling on the table when we asked for them, where only 4 tables and he put off our filth when he left our food, as here where you go, I am done with you. I will go back because eating is so good, but I understand that the service will... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about La Paloma:
It was punch time, so it was a little busy. Service was slow, but the waiter was working hard. The iced tea was the best part of the meal. The Elote was just bad. Canned corn? Took one bite and that was it. The taco salad was so so, but very little lettuce. The enchiladas were flavorless. First time in my life I added salt to Mexican food. Will not return. We moved to the area in mid-July and were to four Mexican restaurants and that is by far our favourite. We're not going anywhere else. It's our new favorite place. They'll see us a lot. Btw best salsa ever! Can't wait to try other dishes. I don't remember the names of the dishes we have, but it was incredible!! Service is also great!
Easily the best Mexican food in town hands down, I tried them all. Pop in and see Courtney and she can give you the run down. The green chili is spot on with the right amount of heat.
As someone who’s worked in food industry, I could understand some wait times when it’s busy. Today was rough at La Paloma’s. Not only were we waiting with four other families for at least 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge us, once we were sat down it took about another 15 minutes to get acknowledged again and order drinks. Not sure if this place gives complimentary chips and salsa but we never got any, asked for some to go at the end of the visit and received some finally. Never was asked for refills on our drinks and the waters we asked for when we sat down arrived after asking two more times and after our meal. Pineapple margarita was mid at best, hardly any alcohol. Didn’t give one star because I was expecting a bean burro enchilada style but was given a green Chile pork burrito instead which was pretty decent. I enjoyed the meal but the customer service sure was lacking today. The fella did his best but I believe was overwhelmed with the amount of tables he had to cover.

They were not full but we had a hard time getting someone to sit us. Regulars we met at the front door said that happens to them all the time. The regulars thought the food was worth the wait. We did not, the food took an excessive amount of time to be served and it was less than room temp by the time we got it.
