We went here for diner on a rainy Wednesday. The staff was very friendly and spoke Spanish and English well. We had a combo platter together with a salad and the home made fries (best you will ever taste) It was more then enough for us, the price was very reasonable, service was good. The seating is on the floor with cushions and low seated tables which give a adorable atmosphere. View all feedback.
What Donna F doesn't like about Zoola San Pedro:
This has a sweet restaurant with a decent dive bar on a lakeside location, popular with stray dogs. The rooms are very, very basic and not very clean, the sheets are almost plastic. I inadvertently opened the room next door with our key, so I'd say it's not too secure. And if you plan on going out after dark, beware it can be difficult to find. View all feedback.
BEST RESTAURANT IN GUATEMALA!!! The Israeli combo is to die for
Great food, poor management. We came for dinner and waited almost an hour for a plate of hummus and pita. This place was instantly recommended by locals, unfortunately waiting times and inconsistent dish sizes aren't worth it.
Beautiful bar and restaurant, didn't eat here but had a few drinks late one night and really liked the vibe!
Cooking takes some time so you must be patient, taste is acceptable, and be sure to bring cash because they don't take credits cards!!
Good breakfast. Unfortunately the compliments finish here. The private room was very very basic with a duvet that was about half the size of the bed. The hostel was very loud and the private rooms only have very thin walls between so we could hear the neighbours vomiting through the night. Final thing I would say is that there is an extremely cliquey Israeli community that actively unwelcoming. They took over the communal space 24/7 filling it with marijuana smoke. There also weren’t any hostel activities offered that I could see. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, despite the great staff. Just a very uncomfortable, cliquey, vibe.
