Contribute FeedbackWe visited the establishment in early August, specifically to try the Ivlev menu. In the end, there was only the design left from Ivlev. There were no waitstaff at all; you had to approach the counter, choose your items, and order from the bartender, who, by their appearance, was hard to identify. When we asked if there was anything from Ivlev's dishes, we were told, "We don’t know who that is, and there’s nothing." We didn’t find anything interesting or unique on the menu, and we could easily have the borscht with solyanka somewhere else. Ultimately, we left disappointed and went to another place. Despite their claim on the website to be a working establishment after the Ivlev renovation, we won’t be coming back.
Why bring in Ivlev if everything is so terrible shortly after the renovations? The waitress was disgustingly rude and familiar, the bartender was just as bad, and everything else followed suit. They don’t even deserve one star, but that's the minimum I can give.
The food is delicious, and the beautiful interior is a credit to Konstantin Ivlev. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend it.
Large portions of salad: the chicken and nut salad is very delicious. There's a great variety on the menu, so be sure to ask about the availability of dishes.
The manti with lamb and the dumplings are divine! They are handmade and taste just like homecooked meals, much better than, for example, those at the Momos on Petrogradskaya or the Dumplings at Dostoevskaya.
