Last place we came to this summer before our return to Madrid. It is a Bid Gourmand from the Michelin Guide and we had a phenomenal dinner. The place is a small house on a street in the town of Sóller. At the entrance there is the dining room and the bar and at the back there is a very pleasant patio, but we prefer inside because of the heat. The service was great, a lovely lady who told us about each dish and served us wonderfully; They also collect crumbs before dessert, a detail that is no longer seen in restaurants that are not super luxury. The correct table with a tablecloth and cloth napkin. It has a very cheap tasting menu system for €39.50 with drinks included; You can change one of the dishes for a Soller prawn stew and pay an extra €12.50. You can also make the menu with pairing and then it costs €68.50. The menu consists of an appetizer based on salt with mint-lime and pink pepper, truffle butter, oil and bread, all delicious! Also as a starter of the house, Palometa marinated with trampó tomato and pepper , was delicious. Then the menu itself begins, which is very short and the downside is that, to make it a little longer and so that you don't leave in 5 minutes, they lengthen the times between dishes too much. 1º Beef tartar with egg yolk and summer truffle, it comes with some thin fries, I found that it was too cold and the meat barely had any flavor, a shame!: 2º Candied dogfish with roasted peppers comes plated on a parmentier of potato, it is a very different dish and it was good but the fish lacked flavour; Michanged this dish which I told you could be changed for the Caldereta de Gamas de Soller €12.50 which, even though it is an extra, in the end they didn't charge us for it and it was succulent! , the plating is with some snow peas, the prawns and in a little jar they bring the stock which is like a delicious seafood broth; 3º Black pork loin comes topped with eggplant pâté and a red plum sauce, superb! All these red fruits go so well with the pork.... For dessert, their mythical 4º Whiskey on the rocks cake with Jack Daniel's, lemon and sugar that is delicious, it is not really a cake as such, it is deconstructed, it has a scoop of Jack Daniel's ice cream, a scoop of creamy cheese, foam with cinnamon and almonds and the rocks The rocks is a crumbled almond flour sponge cake and a splash of Jack Daniel's, very different from other desserts and very delicious overall. As a gourmandise, 2 white chocolate bonbons. We didn't do the pairing but I had dinner with 1 glass of José Pariente €7 . In the end we paid €50 per beard because you have to add the water, wine and bread to the fixed price of the menu and they didn't charge us the extra for the stew. It is a correct price for this menu considering that we are in one of the most touristy towns in Mallorca you know what the tourist is here.
