Roundhouse - Solitude
Roundhouse
Description
Perched mid‑mountain beneath the Moonbeam lift, this rustic Solitude lodge offers standout curries, poutine, a solid beer selection and vegetarian/vegan options, plus cozy seating and panoramic views around a giant fireplace. It’s a convenient, no‑frills lunch stop for skiers, but prices are high and food quality can be inconsistent — some dishes arrive undercooked or over‑salted — and staffing and hours are unreliable. Accessible only by lift with paid base parking, it’s best for skiers seeking a warm, casual midday pit stop with scenic vistas.

Cozy mid-mountain lodge featuring a compact food court and pleasant upstairs seating, complete with a fireplace and large windows offering a stunning view of the slopes.
Fantastic spot for enjoying a cold beer along with some delicious Indian poutine!
Unfortunately, the curry didn't live up to my memories, and the fries were too oily and excessively salty. Overall, the prices felt steep, even for a ski resort.
