Restaurant Spicy - Solingen

Excellent service and delicious food, I always look forward to eating here. Great vegetarian options! Picture perfect location.

I stayed in Solingen for about a month and I came from Asia. Once in a while if I missed curry, then this restaurant came into my mind. Simple set up and the service was good, not to mention its curry which is closer in taste to what used to take in Asia back home. I visited this restaurant several times and it never failed me. Good spicy Indian foods indeed.

My daughter and I went to this place for dinner and we waited an hour for our food. People who came at the same time as us got their food way before us some even managed to finish before us and leave. The food is okay but not really worth waiting an hour for. When we confronted the waiter about the wait, she only said, that they thought we could see they were busy. The thing is that their tables are scattered around the plaza so how are we supposed to know which tables are theirs..... We were not given a discount or a dessert for the long wait. Very dissapointed

Today was the third time that I have visited Spicy and again was not disappointed. We were a table of three, sitting in the outside patio in the middle of the Solingen Grafrath village. The atmosphere is really nice because your surrounded by old buildings, you have a nice view of the church and its remarkably quiet. Our waitress was soft spoken but very sweet and kind, which also added to the tranquility of the location. Our food was served in a decent time and was hot and spicy! Really have no complaints and would offer a 5 out of 5, but i've had slightly better Indian before which is why i am holding this at a 4/5.

Its small and sometimes a little bit noisy but the service is outstanding ..... dishes are good . Not so many Indian restaurants here and its not excellent but very good!
