This was a real treat for us, but it was one of the most amazing dining experiences. The staff were polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. The food was fantastic, combining high quality ingredients in really imaginative ways. The whole experience was fantastic. Would definitely come back again

Overall experience was very good. The food and restaurant are superb. The more relaxed and informal service was just right for the location. Downside: Finding the restaurant at 7pm on a dark November evening was ‘entertaining’. Minor point: at the end of the evening, the lady on reception merely handed my wife’s coat back to her. She didn’t offer to help with her coat, which would’ve been in tune with the rest of the service. Due to the acoustics of the room, you can hear the conversations on other tables. I’m rather disappointed it doesn’t offer Sunday lunch... missing a trick there, I think! it was my wife’s birthday and I’m sure I specified this on Opentable. No recognition of this whatsoever. Simpsons did the Sunday before. Rather disappointing. Of the five Michelin starred restaurants in the area, I would put them fourth. I would happily go back, but Adam’s and Simpson’s are better and much more convenient for us.

Fantastic! This is possibly the top restaurant I have visited in 2019. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is very friendly. If you are indulging in a four-course dinner, make sure to order the crab. The only downside is the location, as it is a bit out of the way. However, I would say that the restaurant is definitely worth the journey, and the hotel it is located in looks incredible.
