Very loud orchestra music from 1941 playing and they had no way to turn it down. The waitress said everyone complains about it but it is piped into the store. Food was filling. I really enjoy this restaurant! The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and it's a great spot for a dinner outing.
Great restaurant we did find on our way to marina. Great food, traditional American kitchen, well prepared. Did have BLTs which were very tasty and absolutely fresh. My wife did have fish and chips which were amazing. Place was clean even though the restroom could get more attention to lift this entire place to the next level. Pricing was good! Will come again. Great and friendly staffing, thanks for this great dinner.
Place is nice, even nicer inside. It has a beautiful painting of a farm, the Windmill Restaurant sign and a mountain back draft. Very nice and attentive server. She recommended the Windjamer Breakfast Sample and Linguica Skillet so we ordered them. Serving size is ample. Room for improvement would be the Linguica Skillet is a little salty for my taste. Hot chocolate is good with whip cream topping. It's a gem in this nice, quiet town of Soledad. We want to come back again and try their other offerings.
