We have gone to the Black Bass several times this year. Always very good food. Service is very professional. All of their staff are very good. Enjoy going there and will return for either Sunday Brunch, Lunch, or a Dinner. All menus are great. View all feedback.
What Dave doesn't like about Black Bass:
Great view, charming old building in lovely countryside. Food good but to much filler: **** Mary was half crushed ice; garnola sunday was three quarters chopped fruit; afagato desert was less than 8 oz espresso coffee. Service slow and inattentive; her long green fingernails were unappetizing. Room very noisy when all tables full. View all feedback.

This is our favorite restaurant by far. The atmosphere, the food and the service is beyond any other! The attention to detail is apparent in all things!! OUTSTANDING! This is my HAPPY PLACE for sure. Thank you for 2 nights in a row of amazing meals and memorable moments (we didn't even bother trying anywhere else! !!
My family and I went here for my birthday! Absolute joy and happiness was exuded from the moment we arrived. Food was incredible and everyone truly enjoyed their meals! The restaurant always seems to add that special touch!
The Black Bass is an historic Bucks County inn that has become our go-to for a special lunch or dinner on the Delaware River--not just overlooking the river, but right beside its rushing waters. For six months of the year, when the weather is warm, there is outdoor dining on a riverside deck, in addition to the inside tables along panoramic picture windows. The menu is creative, seasonal, and reliable; the food fresh and beautifully plated; the wine list is strong, the pours generous, the cocktails fun; the desserts are excellent. The service is welcoming, warm, knowledgable, and unobtrusively attentive. The drive there is part of the experience: up scenic River Road beyond New Hope, it makes for a lovely afternoon.
Black Bass offers a superb meal at a very reasonable price. Anyone looking for excellent seafood and fish should check out this restaurant, which also has a lovely river view. I think that this will become my favorite restaurant within 45 minutes of Princeton.
