The Catch - Soldotna

We dropped by unexpectedly and were warmly welcomed by Vern, the owner, who seated us himself. He engaged in great conversation and truly made an effort to connect with his customers. Our waitress, Tara, was lovely and attentive. My date ordered the Seafood Fettuccini, while I opted for the Seafood Stir-fry. The shrimp was wonderfully firm and flavorful, and there was plenty of salmon along with beautiful scallops. Everything was served piping hot. I also mentioned the fresh bread they offer—it was absolutely delicious.

I checked out the reviews and noticed that the restaurant has implemented several changes recently, so we decided to give it a try! I'm really glad we did! We went all out and ordered an incredible Ribeye Steak. I opted out of the potato (my partner got one), but I have to say that the green beans were fantastic! The steak was tender and easily the best I've had in Kenai/Soldotna! We'll definitely be returning! Kudos to the chef!

The food has consistently been excellent. The waitstaff is friendly and welcoming. I really enjoy the atmosphere and the pleasant fellow diners. The owner makes a point to come out, chat with you, and ask about your experience and the food.

The owner is very nice. Cooks are doing a great job. You really turned this place for the best! So nice to see this business with a comeback! So sweet inside and all the staff are so sweet and careful. You pay attention to your needs. This is our Saturday place we go to get a good meal and made how family of everyone feel here. Stop and give him a chance that you will not be disappointed at all. Nice place! And the food and the drinks are so good! I even had the pleasure of thanking the boss personally for the great meal. I've been here so many times, I should have taken more photos. Steak is cooked to your favorite place! You can't go wrong with anything in the menu.
