While I can attest to both the quality and variety of the beers available, I find it important to really outline the things that make this place special. First and foremost, it's employees and owners will never make you feel anything less than family. The connections I've made here will surely follow me for the rest of my life, and this translates very well into the ambience you will find at Kanaal easygoing, caring, and overall very welcoming. Speaking specifically about the provided products, there are 38 taps that constantly rotate to provide you with plenty of variety of the highest quality beers both local and international. On top of this, their fridges are LOADED with goodies, some of them with outrageous promotions that allow even tighter budgets to experience truly exceptional beers. The best comparison I can think of is that their fridges are akin to a treasure chest, full to the brim with liquid gold. There are snacks available fresh cakes and brownies of the highest quality (I'm personally not a huge fan of sweets and constantly indulge on them), an apple pie good enough to stand out on it's own, and chips and nuts to accompany your beer. Kanaal also provides customers with exceptional music and constantly promotes various culturally relevant events, going as far as to host their own and having interesting beers and culinary choices for them. Their anniversary party is widely regarded by like minded people as a time of amazement that will develop into a sort of beer festival hosted in the commodity of your favorite bar. If beer is not your thing, they also flex their muscles when it comes to the alternatives at times you can get tea on tap, along with lemonade. The coffee is fenomenal, and their liquor selection is not only the envy of many bars, but also quite exclusive, ensuring a truly special experience at any given time. I wholeheartedly recommend them, and visit the place often.
