Howeve... read more I am disappointed to have to leave a negative review because I remember how delicious the hummus was the first time I visited Hummus Bar a few years ago. However, with each visit since, I have found the taste to be lacking (at least according to my taste buds). I am writing this review as a reminder to myself to spend my dining dollars elsewhere.

Of course they have chili sauces that you can add to give it some more flavour, but it was missing that certain something. I believe there is a lot of untapped potential here, and a few too many animal products on the menu if you ask me... The food however is decent, fresh, and staff are super friendly. It's quite uncomplicated and their lemonades are also quite refreshing and tasty. If you need a quick bite or some hummus to go, you can't go wrong here, plus prices are adequate for what you get

I really enjoyed the falafel plate with vegetables and hummus, as well as the tasty chicken shawarma. The refreshing lemon drink was a nice touch, especially since it had no added sugar. The food was delicious and fresh, making it a great spot for lunch. The service was friendly and there is a full menu available if you choose to sit down and eat. The prices were reasonable for the portion sizes.

The meat was very well seasoned, a little spicy which made a great combination with the hummus and salad to cool it off. The bread was soft and tasty as well. Bonus points for reasonable prices and nice staff that is speaking english. As I said, the meat and hummus combination was good, although the hummus on it's own would have been a little lacking in taste. For me the music was a little too loud and upbeat, which gave the atmosphere a very crowded feeling even though there was only two other people besides me.
