Sue and Warren are incredible hosts – they are warm and welcoming, and their hospitality is exceptional! We had the pleasure of enjoying their famous pizzas, which were delivered right to our doorstep. We stayed in the riverside cabin, and it was truly amazing. After enduring a barrage of verbal abuse, we felt compelled to leave at 10 PM because we couldn't shake the feeling of danger, knowing he could enter at any moment. While I understand he may want to control food options in this small village, it's unreasonable to react so violently to a simple question about using a microwave in a property that is advertised as having a full kitchen. Huge shout out to Tanwarra Lodge, what a fantastic location, amazing rooms and service. We stayed in the guest house and as frequent BNB users we found Tanwarra lodge to be possibly the best equipped and COMFORTABLE place weve ever stayed ! Just make sure you bring your own food as Sofala has no food options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Tanwarra Lodge without hesitation. Service: 5
Sue and Warren are amazing hosts very friendly and welcoming their hospitality was outstanding! We were able to enjoy their well known pizzas and it was delivered to our doorstep . We stayed in the riverside cabin which was amazing steps away from the river, equipped with everything you needed. The shower had the best pressure comfy bed and sofa not to mention the outside spa bath which you could relax in under the stars with the sound of nature and river in the background couldn't ask for anything better! Spent three relaxing nights at the Riverside Cabin which is set in a beautiful part of a very Australian landscape. Perfect place to unwind and listen to the sounds of the bush and the nearby creek which the covered deck overlooks. Just downhill from the guest house but secluded. There is a BBQ and spa bath as well. Sue and Warren were welcoming when we arrived late after a long drive and everything in the cabin is clean and comfortable. We were appreciative of the milk, juice, bread, cereals, tea and coffee supplied as part of the breakfast basket. Pizza is available to order, and delivered to you at the cabin. Amazing.
