We were staying in Soest for the Christmas Market but instead of feasting on Bratwurst we wanted a sit down meal. Staying in the hotel opposite we popped in to check reservation availability on route to the market on a Friday night and managed to...get a reservation. What a treat the food was fantastic, best meal we had in Germany over our day stay. One of the our party is vegetarian a concept that German restaurants seem to struggle with but Der Moenchshof served up a cracking vegetarian option
My hotel did not have a restaurant, so this was the nearest. I had great meals there. Staff were brilliant, food was even better
