After a four year absence since I last skied in...Obergurgl Davids Hutte has changed hands. This time, it was not just myself and my wife, but with my adult children. The prices have rocketted and the service has degenerated. beers, one gluhwein and glasses of water and an eyewatering bill exceeding This is not good value for money. And with the premium charged for such mediocre service, I was not prepared to treat my family to dine there during our stay. A pity as I used to regularly dine there during the week both at lunchtime and in the evening. No touble getting a table though hardly surprising.

Lots of food and very friendly staff, although some not so fond of speaking English but that was ok for us. Some of us walked from our...hotel near Festkogelbahn and that only took min. There was a big parking lot outside but with a quite steep turn that made it a bit of a tricky drive when the snow was fresh.
