we went 5 times last week, 3 lunches, 2 dinners. we found the staff incredibly friendly and helpful, so really fighting to understand the bad reviews. concerning eating, I have the best breast-eye steak I had for years (for 25 euro! .and the pizza was just excellent. my rat- ignore the bad reviews and try it yourself. be kind to the staff and they will return in kinder wise. We have tried this place twice during a week long stay. The first time the host was rude and very unhelpful and the service was generally awful. So we thought it was maybe just a bad day. So we tried it again and frankly it...was even worse. Popular with local and a wide range of tourists. very good pizza, an salatable and a good selection of typical Austrian dishes. can be overcrowded and the staff can sometimes be overwhelmed, but it is a good option for fun meal in obergurgl
Really bad pizza. no boiled teig, no boiled mushroom. I returned the pizza to cook them more and they gave me the same uncooked pizza back. I'll never go again. really disappointed
