Was Corine Herman at First Union Kitchen a mag?
Great service and great food! I had the Florentine eggs Benedict, but instead of sautéed spinach I was fresh! the hollandaise sauce was very rich and creamy, very professionally prepared also, big around! View all feedback.

What Russel Littel dislikes about First Union Kitchen:
This is a mixed review. I am all about supporting local, but my most recent vistit was not great. I will admit, we showed up on Father's day around 10am. We only had to wait about 20 min, but it would be another hour before our food would show up. The part that was a huge fail, is the waitress never came and checked on us, never told us our meal was coming etc. It was busy when we showed up, but then it died down and... View all feedback.

We got to first and union kitchen as it was about to close for the day. Our waitress was very nice and got our drinks and helped us with the menu.I ordered the Reuben on sourdough dough bread with fries. My wife had the panini with salad. Our sandwiches were good and tasty. It was good food and we took our time eating not knowing the restaurant had closed. The staff didn't hurry us out or let us know they had already closed so we sat and talked for a bit until we asked for the bill. Then we noticed that the closed sign was on. They told us we were fine and not to hurry. We paid our bill and thanked the staff for their patience. The food was good and the staff was friendly. We will definitely be coming back at a more reasonable time to enjoy another meal at First Union Kitchen.

I had a lovely breakfast here. Even though it was busy, we were seated and received our order promptly. I ordered blueberry pancakes, but I wish I had chosen the Eggs Benedict that my partner ordered instead. I can't wait to come back! During our last visit, we tried to queue up for a table. The fluffy eggs were fantastic!

This adorable little spot is perfect for brunch! Although they were short-staffed, the two servers worked incredibly hard to ensure that customers weren't affected. The service was friendly and timely. The portions were massive—we couldn't finish more than half of our meal! My husband had the lumberjack breakfast and loved it, while I really enjoyed the eggs Benedict. We weren't impressed with the pancakes, but it didn’t bother us. We would definitely recommend this place and will be returning ourselves!
